Bears and Lions, our kindergarten students, had a wonderful experience on their visit to ANDOKE foundation. They participated on different activities related to the Butterfly cycle. They observed the butterflies life cycle in the lab and made butterflies with clay. At the "Mariposario" the kids had contact with lots of butterflies; they flew very near, and some of them even landed on their fingers, caps or shoulders.
Our children also learned how important butterflies are for the environment; they recognized Colombia's natural regions and its wildlife. To end this amazing day, they enjoyed walking through tunnels and wall climbing. Some of the kids bought a cocoon and they were very excited and anxious to wait for the butterfly to appear.
