"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for". from Dead Poet's Society
A few weeks ago, we enjoyed a wonderful morning atmosphere full of love and friendship in our 4th annual preschool poetry festival. Our preschool children showed the Gimnasio La Colina community their outstanding abilities in English, presenting different poems in individual, group and dramatic categories.
Throughout this event, children demonstrated how graceful, exciting, and pleasant is to work with this contemporary literature.
